Strike-induced supply disruptions were noticed in Montoir on Monday, with a bunker supplier unwilling to offer grades in the port, a trader said.
The 24-hour strike may be extended further, which could cause prolonged delays and impact bunkering in the French ports. In Dunkirk, port workers have been on strike since yesterday.
The workers are protesting against heavy workloads and understaffing, demanding better working conditions.
Availability is currently normal in these French ports, a trader tells ENGINE.
