As of Wednesday morning, insurance firms have started charging an additional war risk premium on all vessels calling Israeli ports. The additional cost will be passed on to customers, ZIM said in its advisory.

Danish shipping company Maersk, which operates terminals in Ashdod and Haifa in Israel, also notified its customers that it is still accepting bookings to and from Israel.
