PRIO supplies Uni-Tankers ship with B30 blend

Portuguese biofuel producer PRIO said it has supplied a B30 bio-bunker blend to a Uni-Tankers vessel.

The company said it supplied MT Denmark with a 210 mt stem of a B30 blend, which can reduce CO2 tank-to-wake emissions by 27.1% compared to conventional LSMGO.

PRIO did not disclose the location where the bunkering operation was carried out.

The company said it produces, stores and supplies advanced biofuels from its energy complex in Aveiro, which is located inside the Port of Aviero.

Earlier this year, PRIO delivered its first B100 biofuel stems in Portugal.
