Rough weather disrupts bunkering in Las Palmas – MH Bland

Bunkering operations have been suspended at Las Palmas’ outer anchorage today due to adverse weather conditions, port agent MH Bland says.

Strong wind gusts of 27 knots and swells of nearly three metres have hit the port today.

Meanwhile, bunker deliveries are still available via ex-pipe at berth or by barge at the port’s inner anchorage, says MH Bland.   

Heavy swells are forecast to prevail until Thursday, which could cause delays or keep bunker operations suspended at the outer anchorage.
