November 2, 2026
Rough winds and high swells have caused a suspension to all bunkering operations in Malta’s offshore bunkering areas, according to port agent MH Bland.

Malta is seeing rough north-westerly wind gusts of between 30-35 knots and waves between 2-4 meters.
Bunkering is expected to resume during the day tomorrow, when the weather improves, the port agent told ENGINE.
Prompt fuel availability is tight off Malta, with at least a week recommended to secure deliveries, a trader said.
