Rough weather keeps bunkering halted at some Zhoushan anchorages

Bunker operations at Zhoushan’s outer Tiaozhoumen and Xiazhimen anchorages have been suspended since 8 November because of bad weather, a source said.

The port is experiencing strong winds of 23–28 knots and swells of about one metre, with conditions expected to worsen tomorrow.

Bunker deliveries at the Xiushandong anchorage, paused since Monday last week, briefly resumed over the weekend but were halted again.

Meanwhile, bunkering at the inner Mazhi anchorage is continuing as normal.

Most suppliers expect full operations across Zhoushan to resume on Wednesday.
