Seaspan takes delivery of another LNG-fuelled container ship

Shipping firm Seaspan has taken delivery of a third 15,000 TEU LNG-powered boxship.

The ZIM Mount Blanc set sail on its maiden voyage a week ago from Samsung Heavy Industries’ (SHI) yard in Geoje, South Korea.

It is the third in a series of 10 of these LNG-fuelled vessels that were ordered by Seaspan in 2021 and have been chartered to Israel’s ZIM on a long-term charter. SHI named this vessel and its sister ship ZIM Mount Everest in April.
