Singapore bio-bunker sales fell in January, LNG sales rose
Singapore sold around 1,500 mt/day of bio-bunkers in January, down from almost 1,900 mt/day in December, according to preliminary figures from the port authority.

Changes in Singapore alternative fuel sales between December and January:
- Bio-VLSFO sales down from 58,000 mt to 45,000 mt
- LNG sales up from 9,000 mt to 10,000 mt
All of the 45,000 bio-blended bunkers sold in January were VLSFO blended with a bio component – typically 24% in Singapore. Total biofuel bunker sales in January stood at 45,000 mt, significantly higher than the 27,000 mt sold a year earlier in January.
LNG sales rose by 12% in January. Around 335 mt/day of LNG was sold in January, up from 300 mt/day in December.
No methanol sales have been recorded since July last year.
