Singapore conventional bunker sales edged down by 1% in April
A decline in VLSFO and MGO sales contributed to a 1% drop in the port's total bunker sales in April compared to March.

Changes in bunker sales from March to April:
- Total sales down 33,000 mt to 4.25 million mt
- VLSFO sales down 95,000 mt to 2.24 million mt
- HSFO sales up 82,000 mt to 1.70 million mt
- MGO sales down 19,000 mt to 315,000 mt
Preliminary data from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore shows that MGO and VLSFO sales in April declined by 6% and 4%, respectively.
A total of 3,504 vessels arrived for bunkering during the month—18 fewer than in March. The average stem size also dipped slightly to 1,213 mt in April, down from 1,217 mt in March.
The port's total bunker sales for the first four months of the year were 5% lower compared to the same period last year.

Fuel grade share of total sales in April (compared to year to date):
- 53% VLSFO (54% YTD)
- 40% HSFO (39% YTD)
- 7% MGO (7% YTD)
