SK Energy delivers B24-VLSFO in Singapore

The South Korean energy firm supplied a B24 stem to Taiwanese shipping firm Wan Hai Lines’ container ship in Singapore.

The B24 blend contained 24% biofuel derived from used cooking oil methyl ester (UCOME) and 76% VLSFO. The B24 biofuel delivered to the vessel was certified by the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC).

The biofuel was delivered to the container ship, WAN HAI 510, which operates on India, China and Japan routes. The amount of biofuel delivered was not specified by the company.
