Houston-headquartered Stabilis Solutions has agreed to supply LNG to Carnival Corporation's (Carnival) cruise vessels at the Port of Galveston.

The company will supply LNG from its planned liquefaction facility in Galveston. The facility has not yet been completed, and supply is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027.
Stabilis plans to use its proposed Jones Act-compliant LNG bunkering vessel for deliveries, meaning the vessel will be US-built, owned and crewed.
The deal with Carnival is the second anchor offtake agreement linked to the Galveston LNG project, raising total contracted offtake to around 55% of the planned capacity.
Earlier in October, Stabilis secured its first long-term LNG bunkering agreement for the facility, with an unnamed global marine operator. It will deliver around 84,000 mt/year of LNG.
