The eye of Super Typhoon Bavi was located about 700 km east of Oluanpi, Taiwan's southernmost point, this morning and was moving northwest, according to Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration.

China’s National Meteorological Center forecasts the typhoon to make landfall on Saturday evening between Fuqing in Fujian province and Wenling in Zhejiang province, China. The storm is then expected to continue moving northwest while gradually weakening.

Bunkering operations at Zhoushan's anchorages are expected to resume on 13 July after the typhoon has passed, a source said.

Meanwhile, bunkering remains suspended today at the Taiwanese ports of Keelung, Hualien and Taichung, while operations in Kaohsiung continue without disruption, according to a Taiwan-based source.
