Delivery of new stems will be halted from 16–18 February at Keelung Port, Taichung Port and Suao Port. The halt period will be slightly longer for Hualien Port from 16–19 February, according to state-owned oil company CPC Corporation.

Only pre-booked stems will be delivered during this period, a source said, adding that stems are generally required to be booked by 13 February ahead of the holiday period.

In contrast, bunkering operations at Kaohsiung Port will continue as normal throughout the holidays.

VLSFO and LSMGO lead times across Taiwan remain largely steady. Deliveries at Keelung, Taichung and Hualien still require lead times of around two days, largely unchanged from last week, while slightly longer lead times of about three days are recommended at Kaohsiung.
