Titan LNG already provides LNG bunkering services at Le Havre using its bunkering vessels and can now offer truck-to-ship deliveries as well, the company said in a social media post.
“Using dedicated infrastructure and accredited delivery protocols also enables us to safely offer multiple truck-to-ship deliveries, allowing trucks to discharge simultaneously,” it added.
Titan recently conducted a truck-to-ship LNG bunkering operation at the port, supplying an unspecified amount of LNG to Fure Viskaer, anoil/chemical tanker operated by Swedish shipping firm Furetank. The stem was delivered using five LNG trucks simultaneously.
The company currently provides truck-to-ship bunkering services across various ports in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and the UK, according to its website.
“Short lead times for bunkering truck-to-ship can be achieved due to own LNG trailers; time chartered and spot chartered,” it added.
