U-Ming Marine completes its first biofuel bunkering

Global bunker supplier TFG Marine supplied B24 biofuel blend to a U-Ming Marine-owned bulk carrier in Singapore.

The Taiwanese shipping company, U-Ming Marine, has carried out its first bunkering of a B24 biofuel blend on its 64,000 dwt bulk carrier, Asian Progress.
The vessel was supplied with 300 mt of B24, comprising 24% fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) and 76% conventional marine fuel.
However, the company did not provide additional details about the operation, such as the delivery method or the specific type of conventional marine fuel used in the blend.
