Vessel traffic near Galveston Island halted due to dredge pipeline operations

Vessel traffic has been halted between T&T Marine and Savage Sulphur services near Galveston Island's west bay area due to dredge pipeline operations today, according to the US Coast Guard's latest update.

It says no vessel will be allowed to stop or move around the area. Meanwhile, both inbound and outbound vessel traffic in the Houston Ship Channel is unaffected by the dredge pipeline operations.
