VLSFO supply suspended at Taiwan’s Taichung

Taiwan’s CPC Corporation has announced it will not accept any VLSFO orders at Taichung port until 4 December because of ongoing pipeline work.

VLSFO supply at the port has tightened, with recommended lead times increasing from about two days earlier this week, to 3–4 days now, a source said. LSMGO lead times, however, remain unchanged.

Supply at other major Taiwanese ports — Hualien, Keelung and Kaohsiung — remains unaffected, with lead times of around two days for both grades.
