Yang Ming to order six LNG dual-fuel vessels

Taiwanese shipping company Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (Yang Ming) has announced plans to order six LNG dual-fuel container vessels.

Each vessel will have a capacity of 13,000 TEU and will be fitted with engines capable of operating on both liquefied natural gas (LNG) and conventional marine fuels.
The ships are expected to operate on routes connecting Asia with the east and west coasts of North America, South America, and the Mediterranean.
However, the company has not yet disclosed additional details, including the shipbuilder or the expected delivery timeline.
