Asuka Cruise’s cruise vessel, Asuka III, recently received an undisclosed amount of LNG at the Osanbashi International Passenger Ship Terminal in Yokohama Port.
The LNG was supplied using the truck-to-ship method using four trucks. This was the first LNG bunkering of a cruise ship in Japan, Asuka Cruise claimed.
However, the company has not disclosed the LNG supplier.
Asuka Cruise is operated by NYK Cruises, a subsidiary of Japan-based shipping company Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line).
