A key feature of the design is its multi-cargo capability, allowing the vessel to carry both LNG and ammonia. It incorporates high-manganese steel cargo containment technology, enabling the vessel to accommodate the future shift towards alternative fuels with minimal modifications. This gives shipowners greater long-term flexibility while helping preserve the vessel’s competitiveness as fuel requirements evolve.

Given the coastal operating profile of bunkering vessels, Hanwha Power has also incorporated a hybrid electric propulsion system that combines an onshore power supply (OPS) system with an energy storage system.
