A CSOV is a purpose-built offshore vessel designed to support the installation, maintenance, and operation of offshore energy infrastructure, particularly wind farms.
Named Acta Hercules, the vessel is equipped with a methanol dual-fuel main engine, allowing it to operate on both methanol and conventional marine fuels.
The vessel will commence a five-year charter with Danish wind turbine company Vestas, supporting offshore wind projects across Northwest Europe. Its first assignment will be at the Hollandse Kust West project in the Netherlands, with operational management handled by Acta Marine France.
Following the delivery of Acta Pegasus and the entry of Acta Hercules into service, the remaining vessels, Acta Gemini and Acta Aquarius, are scheduled for delivery later in 2026.
