Europe
Rotterdam’s ZRE A-rebated B30-VLSFO (POMEME) price has increased by $27/mt in the past week. The Dutch port’s conventional VLSFO price has remained mostly steady.
Meanwhile, Prima Markets has assessed a $21/mt drop in ARA’s POMEME barge price.
The price of ZRE A tickets, which can be generated by supplying POMEME, has dropped from €110/mtCO2eq ($126/mtCO2eq) to €105/mtCO2eq ($120/mtCO2eq), Prima Markets assessed. But Prima said it lacks confirmation of trades at this lower baseline.
The drop in ticket prices is too small to cause a significant change in the B30-VLSFO price, a source said.
Gibraltar’s B30-VLSFO (UCOME) price has gained $39/mt and is at a $65/mt premium over Rotterdam's B30-VLSFO (POMEME).
Gibraltar’s B30-VLSFO price is at a $31/mt discount to B30-VLSFO offered in Portugal’s Lisbon.
Rotterdam's B30-LSMGO (POMEME) price has gained $75/mt, probably influenced by a $68/mt gain in the Dutch port’s conventional LSMGO price.
Lisbon's B30-LSMGO blend is priced $161/mt higher, at $1,264/mt.
Asia
Singapore’s B30-VLSFO (UCOME) price has gained $49/mt in the past week, despite a $39/mt drop in the port's VLSFO price.
Consequently, Singapore’s biofuel blend premium over conventional VLSFO has widened by $88/mt to $199/mt.
In other biofuel bunker news, MarineFifty plans to invest up to €11 million ($13 million) in Danish biofuel company Kvasir Technologies to support the commercial scale-up of its drop-in biofuel production technology.
Shipping firm CSL said it operated 10 of its vessels on biofuel across Canada's Great Lakes between May and October 2025, consuming around 16,000 mt of B100 during the period.
