BP has a long-term contract to purchase 100% of Coral Sul's LNG output. The floating LNG facility, which is Mozambique’s first LNG project, can currently liquify 3.4 million mt/year of LNG.
The Mozambique facility is part of BP’s plans to expand its LNG supply capacity to 30 million mt/year by 2030.
