The port is currently experiencing strong wind gusts of 23-29 knots and swells approaching one meter.
As of this morning, Typhoon Gaemi was located approximately 700 kilometers southeast of Eluanbi, the southernmost tip of Taiwan. It is expected to move toward the coastal area of China's Zhejiang province starting Thursday afternoon, according to the Chinese weather agency Central Weather Administration (CWA).
Rough weather conditions in Zhoushan are forecast to intensify on Thursday, with strong wind gusts of 20-39 knots and waves exceeding one meter.
Most suppliers are uncertain about when bunkering operations will fully resume in Zhoushan, according to the source.
