Typhoon Krathon made landfall in the Siaogang district of Kaohsiung yesterday, according to Taiwan's Central Weather Administration (CWA).

The meteorological agency lifted both sea and land typhoon warnings early this morning after the storm was downgraded to a tropical depression.

Bunkering operations have resumed at most major Taiwanese ports, including Hualien, Taichung, Keelung, Suao and Mailiao. However, operations at Kaohsiung port remain suspended, with bunker deliveries expected to fully resume tomorrow as the weather improves.

Due to the typhoon, congestion and delays are anticipated, extending lead times at Taiwanese ports from the usual 2-3 days to 4-5 days, according to a trader.
