The contract was signed with a “global shipping company,” whose identity has not been disclosed.

The order covers shipboard shore power systems, along with associated equipment and services, with deliveries scheduled between 2028 and 2029.

The systems will enable the vessels to connect to shore power while at berth, supporting the shipping company's efforts to reduce harmful emissions during port stays.

Cavotec did not disclose further details of the agreement, including the number of vessels covered by the contract.
