Chimbusco completes first biofuel bunkering in Fujian province – JLC

Chimbusco Pan Nation Petro-Chemical (Chimbusco) has completed a biofuel bunkering operation in southeastern China’s Fujian province.

Chimbusco’s bunkering vessel, HONG XIN 106, delivered 800 mt of B24-VLSFO biofuel blend to Chinese shipping company COSCO Shipping’s vessel, XIN CHI WAN, market intelligence provider JLC reported.

The bunkering operation took place at the Xiamen Yuanhai Container Terminal on 30 September, JLC reported citing Xiamen Maritime Safety Administration.

The B24-VLSFO blend comprised biofuel (24%) and VLSFO (76%), JLC reported. The report did not specify the feedstock used to produce the biofuel component.
