CMA CGM takes delivery of another LNG-capable container ship

French shipping company CMA CGM has taken delivery of its latest LNG-capable newbuild, CMA CGM Pantheon.

The 24,000 TEU container ship is a sister ship to CMA CGM Notre Dame, which was delivered in May. It is fitted with a dual-fuel engine capable of running on LNG as well as conventional marine fuels.

The vessel will be deployed on the Asia–Europe trade route.

However, the company has not disclosed further details about the vessel, including the identity of its shipbuilder.
