The B100 (100% biofuel), supplied by global bunker supplier Bunker One is made up of 100% waste-based feedstock. The biofuel is sourced from Denmark-based biofuel producer DAKA ecoMotion, Bunker One said.

Colon Line is testing the B100 biofuel on its passenger ferries - SuperSpeed 1 and SuperSpeed 2, which operate between the Danish port of Hirtshals and the Norwegian ports of Larvik and Kristiansand.

Bunker One claims that the B100 biofuel bunkered demonstrated up to 85% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to conventional fossil marine fuels on a well-to-wake basis.
