FIS: Fuel Oil Daily Evening Report

Rotterdam’s HSFO barge crack has been strengthening of late, breaking back above the ­-$30/bbl mark for the first time since last month. Its printed ­-$29.45/bbl at the UK close, up by over $1/bbl from its previous settlement.

HSFO forward spreads squeezed upwards today, with Singapore’s December-January spread up almost $2/mt on the day to print $3.25/mt. Rotterdam’s spread for the same months strengthened by $1.50/mt, to ­$1.00/mt.
