The LNG stem was delivered to Japanese shipping firm NYK Line’s subsidiary NYK Cruises’ cruise ship, ASUKA III.
The vessel is deemed to be the largest Japanese-flagged cruise ship, according to Singapore Cruise Centre (SCC).
FueLNG is a joint venture between energy company Shell, and Seatrium Offshore & Marine.
In February, Mitsui O.S.K Lines-owned bunker vessel, Brassavola, delivered an LNG stem to the Silversea-operated cruise ship, Silver Nova, at SCC’s HarbourFront Ferry Terminal.
SCC operates a cruise and ferry terminal at the HarbourFront Ferry Terminal, a departure-point in southern Singapore which connects the mainland to nearby islands, including Batam, Desaru and St. John's Island.
