The new order has been placed through their joint venture FureBear, which will take their count of dual-fuel tankers to eight.
The four 17,999 dwt vessels will be built at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Yangzhou, China, and are expected to be delivered in 2025.
These vessels will be equipped to use shore power where it is available and have battery power to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
After completion, the new tankers will be included in the Gothia Tanker Alliance, and deployed in Gothenburg, Sweden.
