Gasum and Fjord1 sign long-term agreement to bunker ferries with LNG
Finnish state-owned energy company Gasum has signed a long-term agreement with Norwegian ferry operator Fjord1 to supply LNG for bunkering a fleet of ferries operating on the Arsvågen–Mortavika route between Stavanger and Haugesund in Norway.

The agreement covers LNG supply for four primary ferries and one backup vessel.
Gasum will deliver the fuel via truck-to-ship bunkering at both terminals on the route, with bunkering operations carefully scheduled to ensure uninterrupted ferry services.
The agreement follows Gasum's recent signing of a long-term capacity deal at the Klaipėda LNG terminal in Lithuania. Announced in June, the agreement secures terminal capacity for supplying LNG and liquefied biomethane (LBM) to customers across northwestern Europe between 2033 and 2040.
