GLBP inches closer to developing Texas LNG bunker port

Galveston LNG Bunker Port (GLBP) has applied for a permit from the US Army Corps of Engineers to build its proposed 300,000-gallon per day capacity LNG bunkering terminal in Texas City, US.

The terminal is being developed in a phased approach with a total expected capacity of 600,000 gallons per day, divided between Phases 1 and 2, each with a capacity of 300,000 gallons per day.
The company expects to start phase 1 operations by 2026.
GLBP is a joint venture between the energy infrastructure company Pilot LNG and the international business group Libra Group’s subsidiary, Seapath.
