12 of these ships, each with a capacity of 16,800 TEU, will be built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group. The remaining 12, each with a capacity of 9,200 TEU, will be constructed by New Times Shipbuilding.

These ships will be equipped with dual-fuel propulsion systems, enabling them to run on both conventional fuels and LNG.

They will also be ammonia-ready, which means that while they won’t initially operate on ammonia upon delivery, they can be retrofitted for ammonia propulsion in the future.
