Hurricane Lee to hit coastal New England and Canada
Hurricane Lee has changed its course and is now expected to hit the Eastern Coast of Canada, instead of the US.

Meanwhile, the storm is unlikely to impact bunkering on the Canadian East Coast as ports like Quebec and Montreal are well sheltered and not in the storm's direct path.
The hurricane has weakened from Category 3 to Category 2 today and is anticipated to further downgrade into a Tropical Storm as it approaches landfall in Canada.
However, Hurricane Lee is expected to remain a large and dangerous storm as it approaches southeastern New England on Friday. The storm is then expected to move over Maine and Atlantic Canada during the weekend. Coastal New England and parts of Atlantic Canada have been issued with hurricane and tropical storm alerts, while southeastern Massachusetts is under storm surge watch.
It expects to bring heavy rainfall and dangerous surf conditions in Bermuda later today. It also poses a threat of coastal flooding in portions of eastern Maine, southern New Brunswick and western Nova Scotia over the weekend, according to the US National Hurricane Center (NHC).
