IBIA enters new partnership to boost GHG reduction efforts

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) has teamed up with three other organisations and firms to coordinate their efforts towards reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The other three partners are the Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation (GCMD), the International Windship Association (IWSA) and data provider Kpler.
The four entities will collaborate for pilots and studies on alternative fuels and identify workable solutions to reduce GHG emissions in the maritime industry.
In the new pilots that are part of the GCMD’s 5-year projects outlook, Kpler will provide market data and IWSA will help drive innovation and integrate wind propulsion.
