The LNG carrier will be build by South Korean shipbuilder Hanwha Ocean at its Geoje Shipyard in Yeongnam, South Korea, MOL said. It is scheduled for delivery in 2026.

The vessel will be used to transport LNG for TLT and will be equipped with MAN Energy Solutions’ dual-fuel LNG engine.

TLT, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan's largest gas utility firm Tokyo Gas, previously signed a time charter contract for seven LNG carriers with MOL.
