The blend was delivered to the cruise ship Norwegian Viva.
Norwegian Cruise Line has ramped up its use of biofuels on its cruise fleet as part of its Sail & Sustain strategy.
Earlier this year, Norwegian Cruise Line signed biofuel supply deals with Spanish energy firm Repsol and Dutch marine fuel supplier Burando.
The delivery also follows previous biofuel supply operations on Norwegian’s cruise ships in Europe, including successful trials in Gibraltar, Copenhagen, the ARA region, as well as a separate delivery in Piraeus in July, WFS said.
In October, another supplier Coral Energy conducted its first biofuel supply operation by barge in Piraeus.
