RMC delivers LNG dual-fuel ferry to TT-Line

The vessel will operate in the Geelong-Davenport route in Australia's Bass Strait.

Finnish shipbuilder Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC) has delivered the LNG dual-fuel RoPax (roll-on/roll-off passenger) vessel to Tasmanian transport firm TT-Line Company. 

The vessel, Spirit of Tasmania IV, can run on both LNG and conventional marine fuel. It is the first in a series of two RoPax ferries that RMC will deliver to TT-Line. 

In July, RMC announced that TT-LIne’s second LNG dual-fuelled vessel Spirit of Tasmania V will be delivered next year.
