Stockholm port to roll out shore power to cut emissions

Sweden's Port of Kapellskär near Stockholm aims to connect Finnlines ferries to shore power by next year.

Actemium will supply the onshore power system to Kapellskär. The company has previously delivered two of these systems to the Ports of Stockholm.

Most ferry services in the Stockholm area are already connected to shore power. Kapellskär will be the latest addition.
