Svitzer’s tugboat supplied with HVO 100 in Southampton

Towage provider Svitzer announced that it has supplied one of its service vessels with 100% Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO 100).

According to the company's announcement, the service vessel, Svitzer Bargate, received the bunker delivery at UK's Port of Southampton.

The bunker supplier has not been named.

Similarly, Italian Energy firm Eni’s subsidiary Enilive now offers HVO-based biofuels in the ports of Venice, Genoa and Ravenna.
