The company has installed a mass flow meter (MFM) system on its bunker vessel Storholmen, certified to ISO 22192, the international standard for bunker deliveries measured by MFM.

"This...forms part of our ongoing MFM and digitalisation rollout to improve the accuracy and transparency of bunker quantity measurement, giving customers greater confidence in delivered volumes," the company said.

The Storholmen follows the Buffalo B414 and Buffalo B304, which TFG Marine equipped with the meters last month.

Late last month, it also fitted an MFM on the barge Kingston Trader ahead of operations in Jamaica with local partner Scott Petroleum. That installation took the company's fleet coverage to about 88%.

TFG Marine had planned to fit MFMs on nearly 90% of its global bunker fleet by 2026.

TFG Marine called on port authorities and regulators to keep supporting certified MFMs, saying "wider adoption will require support across the sector".
