Dutch LNG supplier Titan Clean Fuels carried out cooling down and LNG bunkering operation on the SFL's vessel.

“Demand for LNG is rising as it is becoming a mainstream fuel since it is widely available today and enables ship operators to reduce emissions now," Titan’s commercial director Michael Schaap said.

“We look forward to continuing to enhance our LNG and bio-LNG bunkering capabilities," he added.

Marine fuel trader KPI OceanConnect arranged for the LNG bunker delivery through Titan.

LNG can curb carbon dioxide emissions by about a quarter compared to conventional bunker fuels. However, its methane emissions can be 36 times more potent as a greenhouse gas (GHG) compared to carbon dioxide over a century, according to a World Bank study.
