U-Ming launches its first LNG dual-fuel LNG carrier

Taiwanese shipping company U-Ming Marine Transport has launched an LNG dual-fuel LNG carrier at Samsung Heavy Industries’ Geoje shipyard in South Korea.

The 174,000 cbm-capacity vessel, Diamond Gas Jade, can operate on both LNG and conventional marine fuels.

Upon delivery, it will commence long-term LNG transportation operations, although the company has not disclosed its deployment route or trading region.
