The 7,990 dwt tanker, Maya Cosulich, is capable of carrying methanol and biofuels up to B100. It is equipped with methanol dual-fuel propulsion and a mass flow meter.

The vessel enhances Vilma Oil Med’s capacity to supply fuel both at anchorage and alongside vessels in Ceuta.

TFG Marine has chartered the tanker from Fratelli Cosulich. The vessel was launched at China’s Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipyard in October, sailed to Singapore in December, before entering service in the Mediterranean.

In January, Vilma Oil Med also expanded its storage capacity at Ceuta to approximately 120,000 cbm and strengthened its ex-pipe delivery capabilities at the port.
