The announcement follows the completion of sea trials for its 12,500-cbm LNG bunkering vessel, Vivit Asia LNG.
Vitol Bunkers said the planned operations are “backed by a fully contracted regional supply chain".
It also has another three LNG bunkering vessels on order, scheduled for delivery towards 2027. These will add a combined capacity of more than 50,000-cbm to its fleet.
It has not specified which other Asian ports it plans to serve or when its first LNG bunker delivery will take place.
“With long term LNG supply arrangements and bio-LNG production capability, customers benefit from the scale, reach and delivery capability needed to support requirements across key marine markets,” Vitol said.
