ARA and Europe

Rotterdam’s B30-VLSFO (POMEME) price has dropped around $66/mt over the past week. This has mostly been influenced by an approximate $70/mt drop in the port’s conventional VLSFO price in the last week.

Prima Markets assessed ARA POMEME barge price remained unchanged during the period.

Under the Netherlands' ERE system, Dutch bunker suppliers can generate ZRE A tickets for supplying advanced biofuels to ships. These tickets can be sold to suppliers that are under-compliant. The price of these tickets has edged slightly higher, from €127/mtCO2e last week to €130/mtCO2e this week.

Rotterdam’s B30-LSMGO price has slumped $190/mt lower in the past week. The port’s conventional LSMGO price has seen a similar decrease during the period, which could have weighed on the blend’s price.

Meanwhile, Rotterdam’s bio-bunker volumes fell by around 35% in the first quarter of the year compared to fourth quarter of 2025, data from the port authority shows.

Gibraltar’s B30-VLSFO (UCOME) price has fallen by $112/mt, almost twice the drop of the port’s conventional VLSFO price. This has reduced the blend’s premium over conventional VLSFO by around $59/mt in the past week.

Comparatively, Lisbon’s B30-VLSFO (UCOME) price has slipped by only $31/mt during the week. This has narrowed Lisbon’s price discount to Gibraltar’s B30-VLSFO by $81/mt to just $25/mt.

Singapore

Singapore’s B30-VLSFO (UCOME) price has dropped by $157/mt in the past week, while its conventional VLSFO price has declined by $112/mt.

Consequently, the blend’s premium over conventional VLSFO has narrowed by $45/mt in the last week.

Most bio-bunker suppliers in Singapore have now resumed bio-blended bunker sales. Some are offering only when large quantities are requested, while others quote for all quantities or remain on the sidelines.

Last month, many suppliers paused biofuel sales to take advantage of the high premiums on conventional bunker fuel sales.

Despite the pause in biofuel supply, Singapore's bio-blended bunker sales edged up by 1% in March, data from the Singapore Maritime Port Authority shows.
