VLSFO cracks in Singapore and Rotterdam surged today, after a period of flat trading in the past six weeks.

February-March VLSFO spreads in Singapore and Rotterdam widened by $2.25/mt and $2/mt, to print daily highs of $10.50/mt and $9/mt, respectively.

Rotterdam’s HSFO barge crack declined by $0.65/bbl, to print -$26.80/bbl as we approached the UK close.

The opposite can be said for VLSFO cracks in Singapore and Rotterdam, which increased by $0.85/bbl and $0.50/bbl, respectively.
