FIS: Fuel Oil Daily Evening Report

VLSFO cracks remained highly illiquid today, amid ongoing and upcoming refinery maintenances across the US and Asia.  

As we approached the UK close, Singapore and Rotterdam’s VLSFO cracks dropped by $0.25/bbl from Friday’s settlements, printing $9.85/bbl and $3/bbl, respectively.

Chinese traders sold Singapore’s HSFO and VLSFO contracts for April and May during the arbitrage window today.
